The FBIYC would like to thank everyone that came out for their
sledding party. We had a good turnout for the sledding party even
though there was a big tournament that weekend in Midland and
also in Prescott for the club’s annual
rabbit hunt.
The sledding party was held on February 28th 2010 from 5 pm to 7
pm. We chose the area on D course where the long bear is set up at
the fall shoot (the west side of the ravine) as the site of our
sledding party. Everyone had a great time. With the many trips up
and down the hill the kids and especially the adults were worn out
when it was over. The smiles and looks of pure excitement on the
kid’s faces as they were flying down the
hill was priceless. The look of pure fear on the adult faces as they
went flying down the hill was just as priceless.
With the short days of winter and the busy indoor schedule at
this time of year, the sledding party was a great break. This was so
much fun that we will be trying to do it again next year. Hopefully
the weather, snow fall and timing will work even better next year.
