A sit shot that’s on a chain can be moved the length of the chain in any direction. A kneel shot must be shot while kneeling on the pad. The pad may be rotated in any direction. Winter league shots are made from a position adjacent to the target plate or placard.

11. Do not alter or remove any stakes or targets.

15. No walking up on a target before all archers have finished shooting. A group of shooters can watch the running animal go by once before anyone shoots, making sure it is functioning properly.

16. One shot per target. A second shot is only permitted for a complete miss of the target or mechanical failure (I.E, broken knock). The second arrow counts for half of the points for the hit scored.

17. The arrow shaft or broadhead blade must touch the line: tears do not count for achieving the higher score.

18. Scoring on the initial arrow is as follows: 20 = heart / best kill area, 16 = lung and liver area, any body shot outside the vitals = 4 this includes the head, tail and legs.

19. Any decision on the scoring at a target must be decided by a majority present at the target or ruled on by the rules committee.

20. Each score on a target shall be written in the proper place on the scorecard as to the correct target number. No one may shoot the course in reverse order.

21. All shooting must be completed on the scheduled league day, no make-ups. If absent, handicapped league shooter average plus handicap minus ten points will be used for their score. Exceptions made with registration or rules committee approval (equipment failure, sickness, and emergency or severe weather conditions). Shooter would then be given their average plus handicap (if applicable) for score.

22. Failure to turn in your scorecard will result in a zero for that weeks score.

23. Any changes in class must be reported to registration and a new handicap must be used.

24. Any target or shot including the running animal you feel is not safe, skip it and shoot it later after the problem has been corrected or verified by registration to be OK to shoot.

25. Make sure where shooters have to walk on lanes behind a target to get to the next shot, that it’s clear before anyone shoots. After reaching the safe area the last person should yell back that it’s clear.

26. If a shooter is behind a target looking for a stray arrow they must leave his/her bows against the target to let anyone else on the course know that the target is not currently safe to shoot. If more than one person is in the group one person must stay out in front of the target.

27. When shooting in a group it is the shooters responsibility to mark their broadheads so it can be determined which shooter made which hole in the target for scoring (broadhead league only).

28. After shooting and scoring arrows make sure that all holes and cuts in the target are taped for the next shooter (broadhead league only).

29. A shooter must shoot at least 60% of the scheduled shooting dates in the same class to be eligible for a trophy. A shooter must be paid in full for league dues.
