Target Coordinator June 2010

As you may have heard; Jim made an emergency trip to Florida per his Mother's request; Holly, Jim's daughter went earlier this week; it does not sound good, keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I want to thank all those who helped with the State MAA shoot this year, thanks for all the odds and ends and the food was GREAT! This one really took a toll on me; I still have a very numb hand, arm, leg, and a complication with some nerves in my arm, and I have a lot of pain. I am really not good and having a hard time, especially with my nerves twitching.

A number of you know I was not going to run this year; but wanted to try one more year; well I am stepping back from target coordinator. I know there is only a few more months left; but my problem is, as some of you know I am gone the next State Target 900 (August 7th & 8th ); for a week and a half for vacation and a reunion that I have missed for 7-8 years now. Also I do not know enough to stay away from doing and helping set up tournaments and as I said this last state took its toll on me.

I will finish up running the outdoor target league which has 6 weeks to go yet. I also want to thank those who are helped with the field and hunter blocks! Larry Woughter will be setting up the next state, so plan on helping even if it is only a couple of hours. Last I knew there was a couple of people thinking about the target coordinator position, if so let Mike Alexander know.

Both Mark Salsgiver and Heather Zofko-Bills have taken first place in their divisions during the NFAA Indoor Nationals. Be sure to congratulate them when you see them at the club.
