Flint Bowmen is excited to welcome you to our archery community!
Whether you're a traditional, compound, or crossbow shooter, we've got a league for you. Leagues run year-round for all ages and skill levels. When you're not competing, join us for fun social events that bring our archery family together. Come shoot with us and discover the thrill of hitting the bullseye.
Indoor leagues are a great way to hone your skills over the winter months while it is cold and snowy outside. Flint Bowmen offers the following leagues during the winter months:
Three Spot Target (Vegas Face / Fita Face)
Multicolor target
Single spot option
450 total score for each round (45 arrows)
Five Spot Target (NFAA Face)
Blue and white target
Single spot option
300 total score for each round (60 arrows)
Indoor 3D
14 Delta Makenzie or Rinehart Target course
Shoot through 2 times for 28 arrow round
Shoot from distances of 5 yards to 25 yards
Specialty Leagues
Couples League
Fita 450 total score for each round (45 arrows)
Your spouse, significant other, friend, or family member is your partner
All adult winter leagues run for 12 weeks from January through March

Spring and Fall Leagues
Spring League
Usually starts in late April when we move outdoors and set up our 3-D targets in the woods. Spring 3-D League-On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we offer a 20 target 3-D course set with 5 different stakes to choose from. This league is great for anyone, at any ability. This is a field tip only league,
No broadheads.
Tue 10-12am,
Tue– Thursday 4-7pm 8 weeks
Fall Broadhead League
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays we offer a
14 paper animal target course set in front of sand pits. This league is great to see how broadheads fly, especially those who enjoy hunting as this will get a person ready for the upcoming hunting season.

8 weeks
Ladies League
A Ladies only indoor league that usually starts on Wednesdays in September and runs for 8 weeks. It is meant to be a fun league for the ladies who can shoot at any distance their ability allows.
Saturday Youth instructional
Starting in September 9 AM and 1 PM. This league is so popular we have two different lines on Saturday for kids to shoot with
instruction as needed. This is for kids of all ages up to 18 years. While the #1 goal of the league is safety, it’s followed closely by Having Fun! New and experienced youth
archers are able to progress and work their way from the 5-yard line to the 15 yard line. Everybody starts at 5 yards and by hitting certain scores at each shooting line they
move back.
Required pre-registration for this league begins August 1.
Monday Youth Instructional
Mondays-6PM starting in October for kids to shoot with instruction as needed. This is for kids of all ages up to 18 years. While the #1 goal
of the league is safety, it’s followed closely by Having Fun! New and experienced youth archers are able to progress and work their way from the 5 yard line to the 15 yard line. Everybody starts at 5 yards and by hitting certain scores at each shooting line they move back. Required pre-registration for this league begins August 1.
Fall 3D Tuesday Morning
A 20 target 3-D course set with 5 different stakes to choose from. This league is great for
anyone, at any ability, especially those who enjoy hunting as this will get a person ready for the upcoming hunting season.
This is a field tip league only, no broadheads.
Saturday youth 9am

Sunday Outdoor Silhouette
Outdoor Paper Silhouette league. You shoot 8 scores during a 12 week period. - Member required to be on site for non member league participants.
Anytime League
A 5 Spot league that you shoot 8 scores any time you can during a 12 week period.- Member required to be on site for non member league participants.

Annual Events for all
Genesis Shoot and Chili Dinner is usually in early March. This is a fun one-day
tournament where everyone uses a Genesis Bow and shoots from 10-yards for
trophies. This is open to the public and is great for kids and adults. Our members
also bring out their favorite chili to sell as a fundraiser to support the club. This event
is open to the public.
Annual Fall Shoot is usually held in early August. While we have a 3-D shoot in
the woods and a money shoot on another course, what this shoot is known for is all
the fun novelty shoots that are set up on the practice range. This is best described
as a carnival with a bow. People can shoot moving targets, clay pigeons, and
balloons, or test your long-range skills at a bear that is over 130 yards away.
