Private Lessons

Flint Bowmen offers limited private lessons for the beginning archer January through September  They are usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays between 1:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.  The lessons last one hour.

Flint Bowmen charges $30 for the first person, and $10 for each person after that. We can accommodate up to five people at a time.  This price includes use of a bow and arrows if needed. We do accept credit cards as well as cash. To make a reservation, please email, text or call Mike Alexander at

Lessons For Groups
Group Lessons for Scouts, Youth Groups, Adult Groups, Organizational
Groups or just a Group of Friends

At Flint Bowmen, take advantage of the opportunity for groups of kids or adults to learn basic archery!

We offer group beginner lessons to allow people to experience the enjoyment and the challenge of shooting a bow and arrows.  We stress safety at all times, and our instructors teach the basics; such as, how to hold the bow, how to load the arrows, and how to shoot properly.  In addition, we emphasize the importance of proper
stance, practice and the repetitiveness that is needed to shoot well and have fun with archery. These lessons are open to the public as well as members. Group lessons can be arranged from primarily from April to December, depending on the Flint Bowmen and Instructors schedule. The cost is $5.00 for nonmember children and $8.00 for nonmember adults.  Bring your own equipment, or you can
rent bows and arrows for $2.00.  Lessons typically last 1 ½ – 2 hours. We do accept cash, checks and credit.
